190507 Hyde Park London

Easily accessed via tube from different stations, Hyde Park is huge and you will not miss it when you are near Victoria or Kensington  Area
Plenty of birds around, like swan, ducks etc
Basically, the squirrels or birds around here are not afraid of people. Perhaps they have been fed by visitors. Surprised to spot a special need squirrel. Like as usual for him.
Come across this little garden while walking north east to Prime Mart.
The chairs are for rent if you want to sit on them.
Basically, Hyde Park is polluted by too many birds that I felt it become quite dusty. Was pretty surprised as it is not as pretty than those parks I visited out of London. There is a very big field where you can jog there and huge place to walk. Still, I prefer parks outside London than here.

190507 - Serpentine Bar & Kitchen, Hyde Park, London

Lured into this cafe before leaving Hyde Park by this banner
The pizza was good
The coffee, not fantastic
However, it is worth spending some money here for a short coffee and keep the cold air away. With available toilets and seats with good view, I really do not mind coming here to rest and relax after a good walk in the park.

190507 Chipotle

Chipotle came to rescue when we are looking for lots of greens to eat while in London. We ordered the avocado salad and a chicken wrap.
I love the crispy and delicious chicken bits in this wrap with plenty of vegetables
That is the cost of 1 wrap and a salad

190507 Leicester Square London

Exit from Piccadilly Circus Station and walking towards Chinatown / Leicester Square, we come across a lot of eateries and big brands.

This restaurant attracts Asian even in London

The TWG has its flagship store here too
Before turning into the street that lead to Chinatown, there is this Lego Store
With fixtures assembled by lego bricks
Poster on the wall done by Lego bricks.
Just opposite the Lego Store, is M & M. Smell of chocolates is in the air before we even enter the store.
From far, I thought these are rolls and rolls of cloth. Look nearer, realised these are chocolates for sale.

The street leading to Chinatown Gate
All the familiar food started to appear before my eyes
Roast duck stores after stores. You see them in this street. We forgot we are in London.
Walk the streets of Leicester Square
Ended with Chipotle. Nice.
Leicester Square - the place where we can get cheap tickets for the day.

190505 Fresh Go (Convenience Store)

This store is just 10mins walk from Mstay 88 Studio. Quite well stocked up on some simple food.

Reasonable bread. Bought brioche for breakfast. Nice bread.
Cup noodles at about 1 pound each. Not bad. Taste like typical chinese soup noodles.

190506 Natural History Museum London

Located near to South Kensington Station and easily accessible in London. This highly recommended museum exceeded what I am expecting to see. Upon reaching the place, I was captured by the beauty of this building. Huge and made of ash orange yellowish brick (or concrete?), I can't take my eyes off the structure of this building.
Greeted by a big hall with a skeleton of a whale when we entered the building.  The crowd was huge but we do not feel it cause the place is big and able to contain all of us.
There are quite a few sections. This is the birds section.
The stones section
The Dinosaurs section.
There are other section like the human body, and sea creatures I think. We did not finish everything as it is a very big museum.

190506 Camden Town Market

Take a underground to Camden Town Station and you will be greeted to this big market. Plenty of shops selling all the souvenirs for tourist.
Walk further, you will come across a food junction where you can find food from different countries.

Unfortunately, this churros do not taste good. Very chewy and heavy. Cost us 3 pounds.

190427 to 1905510 - Food I ate in England

It was a long trip in England. 2 weeks in England and plenty of chances to try out food there. However, since we put up at my sis place...
