190426 British Airways, Heathrow Terminal 5

Been looking at different airlines and this is the best airline with the best timing and the best price. 
We booked exactly 6 months before our departure and it cost only SGD1127.80 per person. 
If I were to fly SQ, it would cost me at least SGD1300 per person. 
If you add up 4 person difference, it will add on 1K. 
So I rather take BA.

Meals were nice in British Airways. Everything went well. I love the fact that the air stewards & stewardess were much older, like late 40s and they are very mature in handling queries and situations.   

Inside Terminal 5, we need to look out for our flight departure gate. Once the gate number is being displayed, we may need to take a airport train to transfer to the gate. So remember to give at least 10 mins for the transfer. We were only informed of our gate number 1 hour before our departure time. So we need to proceed immediately for the transfer.

Plenty of food and tidbits shopping at the main building. There is also a Boots store near the departure gates at C something.

Honestly, Heathrow Terminal 5 has nothing much to offer. Mostly branded goods and chocolates. So it is better to get what you want in London.
There is a M&S at arrival hall if you wanted to save the hassle in carrying them to the airport as the train system is not that convenient with no escalator or lift for all the underground.
We planned our transfer in Earls court knowing there is a handicapped sign. But on the day of transfer, the lift is down. So we need to carry our luggage to climb the flight of stairs which is so inconvenient.
